Description: The project have this topic:10 youth from
different Europe contries will be in touch
with same number of Romanian youth on a platform online and they will discuss
about different themes. We want to organize a project meeting in Oradea (Romania)
where all the young people will meet for one week.
The project ‘Youths online’ will bring together
young people from different European countries to discuss and reflect together
about global challenges and global issues. ‘Youth in the World’ is one of the
eight priorities of the new EU Youth Strategy. The project will encourage young
people to be more sensitive to global challenges such as environmental problems
and climate change, poverty and social exclusion, human rights, and
intercultural dialogue.
Participants in the exchange will explore these
topics through simulation games, exercises, interaction with the local
community, discussions groups (online and in project meeting), plenary sessions
and action workshops. These topics require not only formal knowledge, but also
require us to reflect on both global and European values and attitudes. Young
people will reflect on what they can do in their everyday life to behave more
responsibly and to inspire their local community to change its way of life.

Dates: The project
starts in February 2013 with online platform, the project meeting in Oradea
(Romania)
will be in July 2013 and will take one week.

Additional
Information: The cost for accommodation, meals and activities in
project meeting will be supported by us. The partner organization /participants
will just pay the costs for transport.
